Baseball Recap: Pine Forest Takes a Loss

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Pine Forest's offense. They came up short against the Peachtree Ridge Lions on Wednesday, falling 14-0. The Eagles just can't catch a break and have now endured seven defeats in a row.

Pine Forest's loss dropped their record down to 1-22. As for Peachtree Ridge, they moved to 13-14 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Pine Forest and Peachtree Ridge could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in their respective state rankings. Pine Forest will face off against Niceville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank disadvantage (536 vs. 34). Meanwhile, Peachtree Ridge (ranked 163rd) will meet Pace (ranked 12th) at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
