Ramos came up big in Kaufman's 3-1 loss
Even if Kaufman couldn't beat Canton on Tuesday, underclassman Abraham Ramos still had a big game. Ramos turned in nothing short of a gem: he struck out nine batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits (and only one walk).
Ramos and Kaufman will head out on the road to challenge Mabank at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Mabank swept Wills Point off the field in their last game , a feat they'll no doubt try to repeat.
