North Oconee is 8-2 against Walnut Grove since December of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The North Oconee Titans will face off against the Walnut Grove Warriors at 5:30 p.m. North Oconee will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

Last Tuesday, North Oconee earned a 61-52 victory over East Forsyth. Given the Titans' advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 18th, while the Broncos are ranked 200th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Walnut Grove ended up a good deal behind Eastside on Tuesday and lost 56-42.

Walnut Grove has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-6 record this season. As for North Oconee, their win bumped their record up to 16-1.

North Oconee was able to grind out a solid victory over Walnut Grove in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, winning 58-51. Will North Oconee repeat their success, or does Walnut Grove have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
