Baseball Recap: Lloyd Memorial Wins Going Away Against Bellevue

Lloyd Memorial came out on top against Bellevue on Friday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run third inning. The Juggernauts blew past the Tigers 8-1. Surprisingly, this marked the Juggernauts' fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

The team relied heavily on Luke Landers, who went 3-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base. Lloyd Memorial is undefeated when Landers posts two or more runs, but 9-10 otherwise. Jacoby Pool also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

Lloyd Memorial's victory bumped their record up to 13-10. As for Bellevue, they moved to 13-16 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

As of now, neither Lloyd Memorial nor the Tigers have any future games scheduled.
