Soccer Game Preview: Liberty vs. Fowler

If Liberty beats Fowler with three goals on Friday, it's going to be the squad's new lucky number: they've won their past two matches with that exact score. Liberty came out on top against Yosemite by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Hawks.

They hit Yosemite with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Gabriele Tedeschi, Charlie Chang, and Ivan Amezcua.

Meanwhile, Fowler fell victim to Caruthers and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Blue Raiders. The defeat continues a trend for the Redcats in their matchups with the Blue Raiders: they've now lost three in a row.

Liberty has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-11-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 11 goals over those four games. As for Fowler, their loss dropped their record down to 6-10-3.
