Volleyball Recap: Berean Christian Takes a Loss

Berean Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the Contra Costa Christian Cougars.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-23, 19-25, 25-12.

Berean Christian now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Contra Costa Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 14-7 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Berean Christian will take on Mt. Diablo at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Eagles are facing the Red Devils at the right time seeing as the Red Devils are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Contra Costa Christian, they will challenge California School for the Deaf at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. The Cougars will also cruise into their next contest with the timing on their side: the Eagles will have lost six straight heading into Tuesday's game.
