 The Narragansett Mariners will head out on the road to  take on  the Tiverton Tigers at 4:00  p.m.  on Monday. Narragansett is no doubt hoping to put an end to  a four-game streak of away losses dating back to last season.
 Narragansett is headed into the  matchup fresh off scoring the most  runs they have all season. They came out on top in a nail-biter against St. Raphael Academy  on Sunday and snuck past  6-5.
  Finley Hohl looked comfortable as he  tossed 2.2 innings while giving up just one earned run but no hits.
 On the hitting side,  the team  relied heavily on  Jackson Hohl, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 2-for-4.
 Meanwhile, Tiverton faced Johnston in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. Tiverton narrowly escaped with a  win as the  team sidled past Johnston  3-1. Three seems to be a good number for Tiverton as the  squad scooped up a  victory with the same number of  runs in their previous game.
  Kamdyn Rego spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered one  run (which was  unearned)  on three hits and racked up eight Ks.
 At the plate, Tiverton's win was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was  Cayden Rego, who  went 2-for-4 with two  RBI.
 The  victory  got Narragansett back to even at 3-3. As for Tiverton,  the  win  made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 3-2.
 Narragansett came out on top in a nail-biter against Tiverton  in their previous meeting  back in May of 2023, sneaking past  1-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Narragansett since the  team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
