Softball Recap: Deshler Extends Home Winning Streak to Five

There's no place like home for Deshler, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They came out on top against the Mountain Brook Spartans by a score of 5-1 on Friday.

The team relied heavily on Taylor Tittle, who went 1-for-2 with one home run. Kaleiah Decatur was another key player, going a perfect 1-for-1 with two RBI.

Deshler pushed their record up to 18-10 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.0 runs over those games. As for Mountain Brook, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-20 record this season.
