Baseball Recap: Neville Comes Up Short

Neville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 16-6 to the Sterlington Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-6 back in March.

Neville's defeat dropped their record down to 13-20. As for Sterlington, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-5 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Neville will head out to challenge Alexandria at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Sterlington, they will venture away from home to take on Weston at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Panthers will need to watch out since the Wolves have now posted at least ten runs in their last seven games.
