Baseball Recap: Wagoner Victorious

Wagoner proved they can win big last Monday (they won by six) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Grove Ridgerunners, sneaking past 5-4. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 9-3 last Monday.

Judd Edwards was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing Three bases. while going 2-for-2. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in stolen bases. Adam Luna also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

The victory got Wagoner back to even at 3-3. As for Grove, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Looking ahead, Wagoner will challenge Coweta at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Grove, they will face off against Miami at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
