Football Recap: Mercy Bears vs. Castilleja Gators
Mercy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 32-19 to the Castilleja Gators.
Leading Castilleja to victory were Karlie Gabriel and Taryn Johnston. Gabriel rushed for 94 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries, while Johnston rushed for 36 yards and a touchdown.
Mercy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Castilleja, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-2.

As for Castilleja, they will look to take advantage of their home-field for the first time this season as they take on King's Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
