Lone Peak faced Timpview in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Knights claimed a resounding 42-10 win over the Thunderbirds. The Knights' victory was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

Lone Peak's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Tate Barney, who picked up 55 receiving yards and a pair of scores, and also rushed for 38 yards. Sean Tahi was another key rusher, rushing for 87 yards and one touchdown on only ten carries.

Lone Peak's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Timpview, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Looking ahead, Lone Peak will face off against Bishop Gorman at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Timpview, they will challenge Payson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Thunderbirds will need to watch out since the Lions have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.
