Baseball Game Preview: Los Banos Tigers vs. Buhach Colony Thunder

For the second straight game, Los Banos will face off against Buhach Colony. Los Banos will venture away from home to take on Buhach Colony at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

Los Banos took a six-run loss the last time they faced off against Buhach Colony, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. Los Banos narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Buhach Colony 5-4. Five seems to be a good number for the Tigers as the team scooped up a win with the same number of runs in their previous game.

For Buhach Colony's part, Daniel Sims was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he struck out seven batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off four hits (and only one walk). Sims has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than two walks any time he's pitched this season.

On the hitting side, Buhach Colony saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ethan Kendrick, who scored two runs while going 1-for-2. That's the most runs Kendrick has posted since back in April of 2024.

The victory got Los Banos back to even at 6-6. As for Buhach Colony, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last ten contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-12-1 record this season.
