Volleyball Recap: Lamar County Comes Up Short

Lamar County lost against Fayette County on Thursday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Bulldogs fell 2-0 to the Tigers. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-16.

Lamar County's defeat dropped their record down to 11-9. As for Fayette County, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 25-5.

Fayette County didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Sipsey Valley on the 11th. Hopefully Lamar County paid attention to the Tigers' matchup: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Tigers at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
