Baseball Recap: Cheney Tech Comes Up Short

The matchup between Cheney Tech and East Windsor on Monday hardly resembled the 3-0 effort from their previous meeting. The Chargers fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 10-9. The Chargers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Panthers earlier this season, when they won 3-0.

This is the second loss in a row for Cheney Tech and nudges their season record down to 11-7. As for East Windsor, the victory snapped their losing streak at eight games and leaves them with a 3-11 record.

Cheney Tech does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for East Windsor, they will square off against Windsor Locks at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Raiders will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Panthers surely won't give up without a fight.
