Cheraw and Wiley are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2016, but not for long. Having just played yesterday, the Wolverines will head out on the road to face off against the Panthers at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Cheraw will be strutting in after a win while Wiley will be coming in after a defeat.

On Friday, Cheraw didn't have too much trouble with Kim/Branson as they won 30-16. The Wolverines haven't had any issues with the Mustangs recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, Wiley played a tough contest on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a 52-13 loss at the hands of Springfield. The Panthers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 36-9.

This is the second loss in a row for Wiley and nudges their season record down to 0-2. As for Cheraw, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.

Cheraw strolled past Wiley in their previous matchup back in December of 2024 by a score of 50-35. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wolverines since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
