Egg Harbor Township won against Cinnaminson on Saturday with 14 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Monday. The Eagles put the hurt on the Cedar Creek Pirates with a sharp 14-4 victory. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Eagles as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Gabi Jones made a big impact no matter where she played. She pitched four innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off two hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with one home run and four RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March.

In other batting news, Kaci Velardi was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, three runs, and one triple. That's the most runs she has posted over her last nine contests. The team also got some help courtesy of Sophia Spatacco, who went 2-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Egg Harbor Township's victory bumped their record up to 7-12. As for Cedar Creek, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Egg Harbor Township will square off against Mainland Regional at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Eagles are facing the Mustangs at the right time seeing as the Mustangs are stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Cedar Creek, they will head out to square off against Millville at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
