Soccer Recap: Moore Haven Comes Up Short

Moore Haven was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against the East Lee County Jaguars, falling 8-0. While losing is never fun, the Terriers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 576th, while the Jaguars are ranked 285th).

Moore Haven's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8-1. As for East Lee County, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-3-1.

Moore Haven will be home for the holidays to greet Pahokee at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for East Lee County, they will square off against Lehigh at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
