Football Recap: Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy Comes Up Short + How To Watch

After flying high against South Carolina S last Friday, Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy came back down to earth. The Gryphons were outmatched by the Greenville H Hurricanes and fell 41-0. The Gryphons lost against the Hurricanes in their previous head to head back in August of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 25-21 score last time.

Max Sutton threw for 117 yards on eight of 16 attempts. Eli Lineberger was his top target, picking up 57 receiving yards.

Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Greenville H, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Cabarrus S at 7:30 p.m. on the 12th. As for Greenville H, they will square off against Towns County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
