Softball Recap: Dobie Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Dobie can now relate to. They fell 8-3 to the Clear Springs Chargers on Thursday. The Longhorns haven't had much luck with the Chargers recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Natalie De Hoyos made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games she's played.

Dobie's loss dropped their record down to 18-13. As for Clear Springs, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 21-6.

As of now, neither Dobie nor the Chargers have any future games scheduled.
