James Stampley Turns in Season-Best Effort

James Stampley produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Kankakee to the win on Saturday. Stampley picked up 148 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

Bloom's probably not too fond of Stampley given he always seems to get the better of them. Stampley rushed for 65 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries the last time he and the Blazing Trojan duked it out back in October of 2023.

Turner Posts Huge Game in 46-0 Victory

Kankakee picked up their sixth consecutive win on Saturday thanks in part to Phillip Turner. Turner turned in nothing short of a gem, throwing for 166 yards and two touchdowns while completing 76.9% of his passes.

For the year, Turner has thrown 8 touchdowns while averaging 121 passing yards per game.

Kankakee Wins Sixth-Straight Thanks to Cedric Terrell

Kankakee picked up their sixth consecutive win on Saturday thanks in part to Cedric Terrell. Terrell was dynamite, rushing for 22 yards and a touchdown.

This year, Terrell has averaged 19.6 receiving yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after seven games last season, he was only averaging 6.71 receiving yards per game.

Rich Township had to settle for second on Friday, but Ortez Johnson sure wasn't going down easily. Johnson was unstoppable, rushing for 82 yards on only ten carries.

Rich Township's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 3-4. Johnson and Rich Township will welcome Thornridge at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
