Basketball Recap: Troup County Wins Going Away Against Whitewater

On TuesdayWhitewater kept up with Troup County until halftime, but afterwards: not so much. Everything went the Troup County Tigers' way against the Whitewater Wildcats as the Troup County Tigers made off with a 56-32 win. The match marked the Tigers' most dominant victory of the season so far.

It was another big night for Raygen Godfrey, who almost dropped a double-double on 24 points and nine rebounds. Mia Wortham was another key player, putting up seven points and five steals.

The win (which was Troup County's third in a row) raised their record to 4-1. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.7 points per game. As for Whitewater, their loss was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-7.
