Softball Recap: Mona Shores Comes Up Short

Mona Shores was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Rockford Rams, falling 10-0. The contest marked the first time this year in which the Sailors were not able to get on the board.

Mona Shores saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Miley Peterson, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Mona Shores' loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Rockford, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

While Mona Shores had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
