Baseball Recap: Henrietta Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Henrietta can now relate to. They came up short against the Tolar Rattlers on Thursday, falling 10-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Bearcats have suffered since April 2, 2024.

Caden Frost was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Another player making a difference was Wyatt Mayfield, who went 3-for-4 with one RBI.

Henrietta now has a losing record of 13-14-1. As for Tolar, they have been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 14 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-11 record this season.

While Henrietta had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
