Basketball Recap: Golden Valley Piles Up the Points Against Kennedy

Fans were treated to a battle of the Cougars on Friday. Golden Valley took their game with ease, bagging a 72-32 win over Kennedy. The victory was some much needed relief for Golden Valley as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Kennedy lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Amari Rideaux, who posted 11 points. Another player making a difference was Jordan Pitts, who put up ten points.

The win got Golden Valley back to even at 3-3. As for Kennedy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Golden Valley wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, an 85-34 defeat against Woodcreek on the 6th. As for Kennedy, they have also already played their next matchup, a 49-35 loss against Bradshaw Christian on the 6th.
