Hamilton/Warsaw's loss ends six-game winning streak on the road

Recap: Hamilton/Warsaw Titans vs. Illini West Chargers

After a string of eight wins, the Hamilton/Warsaw Titans's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They fell just short of Illini West by a score of 59-56. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as Hamilton/Warsaw came into the match with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 159th, while Illini West is ranked 342nd).

Illini West's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Wesley Robertson, who scored 13 points along with nine rebounds and two steals. Ethan Carlisle was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with five steals.

Hamilton/Warsaw's loss ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 15-3. As for Illini West, their win bumped their record up to 12-9.
