            Milton Hershey will head out to  take on York County Tech  at 4:30  p.m.  on Friday. York County Tech took a loss in their last  game and will be looking to turn the tables on Milton Hershey, who comes in off a win.
Milton Hershey is headed in fresh off scoring the most  runs they have   all season. Everything went their way against Steelton-Highspire on Thursday as they made off with  a  16-4 victory. The high-scoring effort was just what the Spartans needed considering they were shut out in their previous   contest.
 Ryan Wakeley was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he  struck out six batters over  5.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off   one  hit. Those  six  strikeouts gave  him a new career-high. He was also big at the plate,  scoring two  runs while  getting on base  in four of his five plate appearances.
 In other batting news, Milton Hershey got a  massive  performance out of  Parris Blackston, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while  getting on base  in five of his six plate appearances. What's more,  Blackston posted two  RBI, the most he's  had since back in May of 2024. Another player making a difference was  Bradley Pugliese, who  scored four  runs and  stole a base while  getting on base  in four of his five plate appearances.
 Milton Hershey  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .612. That's the best  OBP they've posted all season.
 Meanwhile, York County Tech fell victim to Littlestown and their airtight pitching crew  on Wednesday. They lost  11-0 to the Thunderbolts. The Spartans have struggled against the Thunderbolts recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost meeting.
 York County Tech's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Milton Hershey, their  win (their first of the  season) made their record 1-5.
 Milton Hershey took their  victory against York County Tech  when the teams last played  back in May of 2024 by a conclusive  9-2 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for Milton Hershey since the  team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
