Kuriston Smith was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Smith was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in RBI (three).
In other batting news, Xaylen Henderson was a standout: he scored two runs and stole three bases while going 2-for-4. He has become a key player for Humphreys County: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 3-4 otherwise. Angel Flores also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.
