Basketball Recap: Adrianna Hudson Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat West Creek

There's no place like home for Springfield, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They took down the West Creek Coyote 50-34 on Friday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Yellow Jackets also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2024.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Springfield to victory, but perhaps none more so than Adrianna Hudson, who posted five points along with 13 boards and six assists. That's the most assists Hudson has posted since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Amaya Walker, who scored seven points in addition to six rebounds and five blocks.

Springfield pushed their record up to 15-12 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.3 points over those games. As for West Creek, they are on a 16-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-17.

Springfield wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 67-33 win against Northeast on the 22nd. As for West Creek, they have also already played their next contest, a 52-34 loss against Kenwood on the 18th.
