Basketball Recap: Upper Arlington Makes It 17 in a Row at Home

Upper Arlington lost to Reynoldsburg back in March of 2019, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Upper Arlington Golden Bears walked away with a 44-35 victory over the Reynoldsburg Raiders. Given the Golden Bears' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked eighth, while the Raiders are ranked 163rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Upper Arlington pushed their record up to 12-1 with the win, which was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.4 points per game. As for Reynoldsburg, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Upper Arlington will host New Albany at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Reynoldsburg, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Newark at 6:00 p.m.
