Softball Recap: Edgewater Comes Up Short

Edgewater was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 21st straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 21-0 to the Wekiva Mustangs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mustangs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 19-0 back in February.

Edgewater's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Wekiva, with the victory, they broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-6.

Edgewater has already played their next game, a 16-1 defeat against Bishop Moore on the 27th. As for Wekiva, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 17-16 win against Lake Buena Vista on the 26th.
