Baseball Recap: Midway Comes Up Short

Midway suffered their closest defeat since April 8th on Monday. They fell just short of the Clinton Cardinals by a score of 5-3. The loss continues a trend for the Vikings in their meetings with the Cardinals: they've now lost three in a row.

Midway's defeat dropped their record down to 13-8. As for Clinton, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-6.

Midway does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Clinton, they will square off against Nevada at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
