Basketball Recap: Berry Snaps Eight-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

It was a proper cat-fight when Berry took on Oak Grove on Tuesday. The Berry Wildcats came out on top against the Oak Grove Tigers by a score of 35-27. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wildcats.

Berry got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Kryssa Fields out in front who posted six points in addition to eight boards and five blocks. With that strong performance, Fields is now averaging an impressive 2.1 blocks per game. Another player making a difference was Anna Raley Palmer, who had eight points and six steals.

Berry's victory ended an eight-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-8. As for Oak Grove, they dropped their record down to 0-15 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight at home.
