Basketball Recap: Long Trail Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Long Trail can now relate to. They had to suffer through a 71-31 loss at the hands of the Danville Bears. Long Trail just can't catch a break and has now endured three defeats in a row.

Long Trail's loss dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Danville, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-5 record this season.

Long Trail does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Danville, they will challenge Twinfield at 7:45 p.m. on Monday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Twinfield comes in on 11 and Danville on eight.
