University Prep's matchup on Tuesday was close up to the half, which is when they kicked things up a notch. They never let the Yreka Miners onto the board and left with a 3-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won nine games by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit Yreka with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Noah Gaido, Asher Williamson, and Jace Dodson.

The win (which was University Prep's fifth in a row) raised their record to 12-5. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those five contests. As for Yreka, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-6.

University Prep didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 4-0 victory against Lassen on the 12th. As for Yreka, they have also already played their next game, a 7-1 win against West Valley on the 12th.
