Basketball Recap: Tiospaye Topa Thunderhawks vs. Bison Cardinals
The Tiospaye Topa Thunderhawks lost against the Bison Cardinals back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Tiospaye Topa suffered a rough 53-29 loss at the hands of the Cardinals. Tiospaye Topa has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Bison to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kyle Stadler, who scored ten points along with seven rebounds and two steals. Colbin Seidel was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with six rebounds and four steals.
Tiospaye Topa has not been sharp recently as the team's lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-12 record this season. As for Bison, their victory bumped their record up to 3-10.
Tiospaye Topa will be playing in front of their home fans against the Tigers at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Bison, they and the Skyhawks will face off at 1:30 p.m. on February 3rd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Takini is no doubt hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
