Baseball Recap: Egg Harbor Township Takes a Loss

Egg Harbor Township lost to Millville back in May of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Eagles took a 6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Thunderbolts. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Dylan Salsbery made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with three stolen bases and two runs. He has been hot for a while, having posted at least one stolen base the last 11 times he's played. Another player making a difference was Mike Baxter, who got on base in two of his four plate appearances with three stolen bases.

Egg Harbor Township's loss dropped their record down to 14-10. As for Millville, their win bumped their record up to 6-12.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Egg Harbor Township will venture away from home to square off against Hammonton at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Millville, they will face off against Sterling at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
