Basketball Recap: Grace Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Grace Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 54-26 loss at the hands of the Gardner-South Wilmington Panthers. The Crusaders were down 38-18 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Despite the defeat, Grace Christian Academy saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Kaitlyn Jorgensen posted 14 points and three steals.

Grace Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 4-18. As for Gardner-South Wilmington, their win bumped their record up to 6-21.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Grace Christian Academy and Calvary Christian Academy will face off at 5:30 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played. As for Gardner-South Wilmington, they will welcome Tri-Point at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
