Bethlehem Christian Academy entered their tilt with Piedmont Academy on Friday with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. They walked away with a 17-7 victory over the Cougars. That's more bragging rights for the Knights, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Bethlehem Christian Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Sian John led the charge by picking up 123 receiving yards and one touchdown, while also punching in one rushing score. John's receiving production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 105 receiving yards. Another rusher making a difference was Adian Grady, who rushed for 136 yards.

Bethlehem Christian Academy's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB four times. James Adams refused to say out of the backfield, picking up 1.5 sacks all by himself. Bethlehem Christian Academy got some further help from Adams: he picked up 1.5 sacks and made nine total tackles (3.0 for loss).

Bethlehem Christian Academy's record now sits at 7-2. As for Piedmont Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 5-4.
