Volleyball Recap: Oran Takes a Loss

Oran was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Bell City Cubs. The Eagles were not able to make up for their loss to the Cubs from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Oran was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-23, 25-17.

Oran's defeat dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Bell City, they pushed their record up to 21-4 with the victory, which was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Oran wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-2 loss against Sikeston on the 8th. As for Bell City, they will host Richland at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
