Softball Recap: Fisher Catholic Comes Up Short

Fisher Catholic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Logan Elm Braves, falling 10-2.

Aubrey Beaseau made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Ava Brue, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Fisher Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. Logan Elm has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Fisher Catholic and Logan Elm will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. Fisher Catholic will square off against rival Millersport at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Logan Elm is set to take on their familiar foe Fairfield Union at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
