After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Calipatria, West Shores was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Calexico Mission RoadRunners with a sharp 3-0 win. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the RoadRunners recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant West Shores was: they took every set by at least 15 points. The final score came out to 25-7, 25-10, 25-7.

West Shores' win bumped their record up to 5-7. As for Calexico Mission, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-10.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. West Shores is set to square off against their familiar foe Warner at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Calexico Mission will take on rival Julian at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
