After a string of ten wins, the Immanuel Christian Warriors's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 77-54 walloping at the hands of Anthony. Immanuel Christian was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wildcats apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2019.

Despite the loss, Immanuel Christian saw an underclassman step up: Carlos Acu?a dropped a double-double on 15 points and 14 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Hector Perez, who scored eight points along with nine rebounds and four steals.

Immanuel Christian's loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 25-7. As for Anthony, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 18-8 record this season.

Immanuel Christian will head out on the road to take on the Fighting Irish at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Cathedral is on a six-game streak of home wins, the Warriors a eight-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court. Anthony will take on the Badgers at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
