Softball Recap: Glendale Takes a Loss

Glendale lost against Illinois Valley on Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Pirates came up short against the Cougars, falling 15-9. The Pirates have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Glendale's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Illinois Valley, they pushed their record up to 7-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.

Glendale has already played their next contest, an 11-1 loss against North Douglas on the 19th. As for Illinois Valley, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Bonanza at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Cougars are facing the Antlers at the right time seeing as the Antlers are stuck on a nine-game losing streak.
