Softball Recap: Williston Takes Down Ranked Beulah

Williston faced Beulah in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Coyotes won by a run and slipped past the Miners 11-10. 11 seems to be a good number for the Coyotes as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of runs in their previous game.

The victory (which was Williston's third in a row) raised their record to 19-3. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.7 runs over those games. As for Beulah, their defeat ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-2.

Williston wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, an 11-1 victory against Central Cass on the 9th. Beulah has also already played their next game (against Velva/Drake/Anamoose), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
