Basketball Game Preview: Diamond Ranch Panthers vs. Wilson Wildcats

A feisty cat fight will be fought as Diamond Ranch Panthers take on Wilson Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Diamond Ranch is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They managed a 52-47 win over Kaiser. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Panthers.

Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Wilson beat Strathmore 61-57 on Thursday.

Wilson has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a massive bump to their 20-13 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.4 points over those games. Diamond Ranch's victory bumped their record up to 21-14.

Diamond Ranch strolled past Wilson in their previous matchup back in December of 2019 by a score of 65-47. The rematch might be a little tougher for Diamond Ranch since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
