Volleyball Game Preview: Jefferson Academy Jaguars vs. St. Mary's Academy Wildcats

The Jefferson Academy Jaguars will challenge the St. Mary's Academy Wildcats at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

It was a proper cat-fight when Jefferson Academy took on Elizabeth on Saturday. The Jaguars fell 2-0 to the Cardinals.

Meanwhile, St. Mary's Academy also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to Prospect Ridge Academy by a score of 3-1.

While St. Mary's Academy had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 20 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 24-26, 25-21, 25-20.

Jefferson Academy has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season. As for St. Mary's Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-5.
