            The Chestnut Ridge Lions are taking a road trip to  take on the Windber Ramblers  at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. The last three games Chestnut Ridge has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
On Monday, Chestnut Ridge narrowly escaped with a  victory as the  squad sidled past Westmont Hilltop  5-3.
The team  relied heavily on  Kole Clark, who  went 1-for-3 with two  RBI, one  run,  and one  double.  Justin Whysong also deserves some recognition as  he  hit his first  double of the season.
 Chestnut Ridge  hit smart and  finished the game with only two  strikeouts. They are  a perfect 3-0 when  they post two or more  strikeouts.
Conemaugh Township hit Windber with a six-run fourth inning  on Monday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Ramblers came up short against  the Indians, falling  12-2. The Ramblers have struggled against the Indians recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.
  Lucas Oleksa made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and  went a perfect 2-for-2 with one  stolen base, one  double,  and one  RBI.
 Windber's loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Chestnut Ridge,  the  win also got them back to even at 6-6.
