Softball Recap: Alden-Conger/Glenville-Emmons Comes Up Short at Home Against Grand Meadow/Kingsland/Leroy-Ostrander

Alden-Conger/Glenville-Emmons unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Grand Meadow/Kingsland/LeRoy-Ostrander Superlarks on Friday. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

Lilah Reindal made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-3.

Alden-Conger/Glenville-Emmons and Grand Meadow/Kingsland/LeRoy-Ostrander will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. Alden-Conger/Glenville-Emmons will square off against rival Spring Grove at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Grand Meadow/Kingsland/LeRoy-Ostrander is set to take on their familiar foe Houston at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
