Basketball Recap: iMater Charter Takes a Loss

IMater Charter lost against Immaculata-La Salle back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The iMater Charter Knights fell to the Immaculata-La Salle Royal Lions 37-31. The Knights' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Immaculata-La Salle found their leader in sophomore Alexandra Gonzalez Casar, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 15 rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which Gonzalez Casar has scored at least a third of Immaculata-La Salle's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Candy Cruz, who posted six points along with ten boards and six steals.

IMater Charter's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Immaculata-La Salle, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 13-3.

IMater Charter will be playing at home against Miami Beach at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Immaculata-La Salle, they will take on TERRA Environmental at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Immaculata-La Salle is facing TERRA Environmental at the right time seeing as TERRA Environmental is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
